Completing a DBS check for someone at your club

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and the recent rollout of DBS checks for relevant personnel in adult as well as junior clubs is a vital step in ensuring the game continues to be a safe and inclusive space for all involved. This course will provide an overview of the safeguarding requirements now expected of adult clubs, an introduction to the role of a Club Safeguarding Officer and a step by step guide to completing a DBS check using the FAW system.

This course is suitable for anyone at a grassroots football club who is responsible for safeguarding, recruiting volunteers (including Club Safeguarding Officers) or completing DBS checks for relevant volunteers.
