Aim

This course is designed to support the development of in-game understanding and tactical knowledge. 

About

This course is made up of three online webinars, followed by a four in person contacts that will support your development and knowledge of goalkeeping coaching, in-game understanding and tactical knowledge. Full board accommodation and transfers to and from the hotel are included in the course fee.

Outcomes

This course is designed to combine the technical mechanics of the goalkeeper and their role in the modern game. Exploring how coaches positively affect goalkeepers through realistic practices, and decision-making opportunities. Practical and theoretical presentations support the coach by building technical, tactical, physical, social and psychological knowledge. At this level, the ability to plan, prepare and reflect upon coaching sessions specific to goalkeepers, is key.

Pre requisites

To be admitted onto the FAW/UEFA Goalkeeper B Licence, candidates must hold a valid UEFA C Licence and have completed at least six months of experience, after graduating with the UEFA C Licence, as a goalkeeper coach.

No payment will be requested until the admissions process has been completed. The deadline to make payment will be 5pm, 27th March 2026.
